Call of Duty, while not as pretty as one would hope, represents a very successful transition between the worlds of PC and mobile. Set on the muddy battlefields of World War II, COD is a challenging game that demands resource and squad management that begins even before the mission does. Before setting into battle, you must tailor a team to fit your mission objectives. Your three-man operation can be staffed by any of several officers, each with his own statistics and special abilities. An infantryman can throw grenades and has good health; medics can heal other officers; snipers can hit baddies from farther away than their comrades-at-arms; squad commanders have great health; and engineers--usually essential to the success of a mission--can blow things up, from tanks to entryways. Once you've selected a team and set out on a mission, you will control only one officer at a time, although you can switch on the fly. Your main man can bark orders at his AI-controlled brethren, telling them to take cover when the situation calls for it and to follow him when it's advantageous to do so. With enemy fire coming from all directions, and medkits scarce, you'll probably have to decide which members of your squad you need to stay alive. For example, you might be heading into heavy combat but need your engineer to destroy a tank for you later in the level. It would therefore be a good idea to have your engineer take cover while, say, your infantryman knocks some heads.

3D Alpha Zone

The game “3D Alpha Zone” is the first 3D game developed by Gameleons, a Polish mobile content development company. The game is build in brand new game engine “Gem Xenotime 3D” which offers immersive, interactive 3d environment features such as real-time light effects, outdoor environments, lifts, pillars, stairs, moving floors, secret areas and an auto map feature. Most importantly: Gem Xenotime engine does not use JSR-184 3D API which enables the game to run on a majority of phones models (including Nokia, Siemens, Sony Ericsson, LG and Motorola). Even the older phones (like Nokia 3510i or Nokia s40midp1 models) can handle simplified version of “3D Alpha Zone”.

In comparison to other 3D mobile games “3D Alpha Zone” is a game in which a player may move in each direction – not only left/right/forward/backward but also up/down. Stairs, lifts and ramps make playing a really extraordinary experience, so far unprecedented in mobile games.

Six different enemies and 4 available weapons (pistol, shotgun, machinegun and laser gun), keycards, switches, ammo and medi packs make the game very similar to the early 3D games from PC computers (especially “Doom”, with whom “3D Alpha Zone” shares the same, frightful climate of an abandoned base attacked by aliens ). “Alpha Zone” is the first mobile game so closely resembling early 3D PC games. It is a must-have title for each mobile gamer.

Looking After your Duck
You can perform a number of actions on your duck, from feeding it to disciplining it. You determine how these actions affect it by playing mini-games, the better you perform the more effective that action will be. Games also earn you points that you can spend on buying items in the shop, different items will affect your duck in different ways, will you buy it some duck bill polish, a sandwich to fill him up or make it happy by buying a paddling pool to swim around in.

Communicate
Your duck will also talk to you. Messages will be about the duck's dreams, tips on how to raise your duck better (it's likes and dislikes) and its secrets and desires. You also have the option to turn these messages off if you don't want to hear from your duck.
